Objective
The Michael Kors corner sits inside El Corte Inglés in Madrid, a different format from a standalone store: it shares the aisle with other brands and has no storefront of its own to define it from the street. The goal was to build the 42 m² space with a brand identity recognizable in the middle of a department-store environment.
Process
Working inside a department store means coordinating installation hours with the store itself, which stays open to the public through most of the process, and fitting furniture within the footprint and height limits of the assigned corner. We produced furniture and signage in our own workshop to Michael Kors' brand standards, for a fast install in the store's own aisle.
Result
A retail space consistent with Michael Kors' brand identity, standing out within the shared environment of El Corte Inglés without exceeding the assigned footprint.
