Messe München organizes 14 of the world's leading trade shows across its 18 halls — 200,000 m² of covered space — plus more than 400,000 m² outdoors, the largest outdoor space in Germany's entire trade show landscape. Its most important events include bauma (construction machinery, the show with the largest exhibition space in the world), ISPO (sport and outdoor), analytica (lab and biotech), IFAT, electronica, and drinktec.

These are industrial-scale shows, with exhibitors often displaying heavy machinery or complex technical installations. That completely changes booth requirements compared to a consumer show: load capacity, heavy-machinery access, specific clear heights, and installation times that in many cases run to days, not hours. A structural miscalculation at a show like Bauma can't be fixed on the fly.
