FITUR, the International Tourism Trade Fair, is held every January at IFEMA Madrid and is the world's largest tourism trade show: each edition brings together more than 255,000 professional visitors from over 150 countries. It's a destination show, not just a corporate one: countries, regions, and tourism boards exhibit alongside tour operators, airlines, and industry brands, making every booth a piece of institutional communication as much as a commercial one.
That institutional component changes design priorities: beyond generating business, the booth needs to convey destination or country-brand identity, often with protocol meeting rooms, press areas, and spaces built for officials and media, not just professional visitors. And all of it within the installation deadlines IFEMA sets for one of its shows with the most halls occupied simultaneously.
Solucionic, as an approved contractor at IFEMA Madrid, with a workshop near the venue, has worked at FITUR with destinations like Albania Tourism and Taiwan, that understand exactly this kind of need: a booth that combines institutional representation with real commercial function. We design, produce, and install with the same team from start to finish, so coherence between destination/brand strategy and physical execution isn't lost along the way.
